About this place
A black waffle topped with roast beef or mushrooms brings MARBLE GALLERY CAFE’s monochrome aesthetic to the savoury menu. One diner who ordered it also praised the accompanying salad and chilled soup. The lunch menu lists a roast beef bowl with multigrain rice, curry and a Genovese pasta set, too, so you can choose between a waffle, rice or pasta to suit your appetite.
For dessert, the menu includes a black vanilla Basque cheesecake and a set featuring rich, smooth marble mousse made with Hokkaido cream cheese. One visitor described the marble Basque cheesecake they tried: eaten together, the white chocolate mousse on top and the cheesecake below—which they found restrained in sweetness and cheese flavour—made for a nicely balanced sweetness. Another diner also remembered the combination of white chocolate and rich cheesecake in their cake.
Drinks include marble and matcha lattes, available hot or iced, as well as the café’s original hand-drip coffee. A diner who tried the black sesame and white chocolate soy latte said that stirring it well brought the sweetness and black sesame flavour into balance, with a refreshing note from the soy milk. Another reported an unexpected pairing: a black-looking drink with the flavour of lemon squash. You can carry the monochrome theme through to your drink alongside a meal or dessert.
The café has terrace seating, and its information says dogs are welcome both indoors and outdoors.
